The cuts we make that day will begin to harden right away, so during the next few days County staff will make another cut then immediately apply herbicide. They’ll also remove the debris. Our prior work will make theirs much easier. 

January note from Nancy: I had planned it for winter when Poison Ivy is dormant (January). But turns out herbicide works best three or more weeks after the last deep frost, during active growing time. Thanks to Nicki Frazee and Meredith Hebden who alerted me to proper invasive vines removal. County staff agrees.
