Put your garden gloves on and join the fun! With major support provided by the City of Charlotte Neighborhood Matching Grant Fund, community gardening has arrived in Merry Oaks. The gardens are located on Harbinger Court.
According to a recent survey by the Garden Writers Association, about 16% more American households planned to add a veggie garden and an additional 12% planned on adding an herb garden. Why? More than 3/4 of the respondents felt growing veggies saved money on veggies that have better taste, quality and nutrition than what was available at the grocery store.
Join your neighbors in Merry Oaks in growing your own food and fun!
