Support the Learning Vine at Galilee Center

Good Afternoon Friends.

It certainly takes a village to raise a child and Galilee Center has stepped up to the challenge to help out the most needy children at Merry Oaks with a Remote Learning Center with live teachers starting next week. Here is the wish list for the Learning Vine School supplies and we are asking our neighbors to help get the word out through their networks to help us stock up for these 24 elementary school children who didn’t ask for any of this.
This remote learning center, in partnership with the Greater Enrichment Program, has been created for the students of Merry Oaks International Academy who are facing tremendous challenges in accessing their live school work. This free school will be the best news for these kids and their families and we believe that it will make a difference that will last a lifetime. As you hear the news about CMS, you already know this is a real crisis for many children who do not fall into the privileged categories…however you choose to define that…  It is sad to think that after five or six weeks into the school year, these kids would still be out in the cold…..

If you have any questions about these media ready notices, please do not hesitate to give me a call or email. Please be sure to advise your friends and neighbors that if they chose to make a financial donation, to please designate all offerings to the Learning Vine of Galilee Center. Galilee Center is a 501.3C non-profit and all gifts are tax deductible. I encourage you to visit the Galilee Website at galilee.dionc.org for more information.
Thank you very much for your support!
